About This artwork -
When I first arrived in Geraldton one of the things that struck me was how different the rain was to the UK. It would be a beautiful sunny day and then a band of cloud would come in over the ocean and the sky would explode. It wasn’t so much rain as Rain Bombs. The warm dry land would be splatted in huge drops until it was over and the sun would come out and everything would shimmer. In this work the sun behind the clouds is starting to break through showing the sunshine to come
